I wasn't particularly shocked by the 488 because it looks very similar to the 458 it's replacing.

Yepp that was my first thought. I'm sure that's what they were going for, just like how Mclaren style the 650s to look like a p1.

Doesn't that make perfect sense? The F430 was essentially just the F360 and Enzo mated together.

I understand wanting to maintain a styling language but this just came across as lazy. It's a bodykit for a turbo'd 458.

The front looks like an early development that will eventually turn into a 458.

I don't mind that it's an evolution instead of a clean sheet design, that is normal for them. I just don't like how it looks. The 458 looks better to me.
